Meeting Purpose: Discuss Chapter Branding and Marketing, Metro Grant, Advocacy, Bike Month in May, New Logo, Upcoming Events, and Steering Committee.

Quick summary Items

Fix Spelling and Grammar:
Track council agenda, create a means of communicating all things chapter to ensure our members are receiving information and important action alerts, begin engaging members in helping identify high-priority streets, and create a pathway for communicating with council members.
Logo presented. Logo was voted on. The decision was made to change the font and move the final decision to Google Groups or email.
Bike Culver City awarded Metro Grant for Bike to Transit event during Bike Month.
In conjunction with Metro, Bike Culver City will host an event at Syd Kronenthal Park on May 22nd.
Bike Culver City bike valet sponsored by the City of Culver City during Metro Expo opening on May 21st at Culver City Station. 10 am – 4 pm.
Applications to join the steering committee are currently being accepted. Applicants must be present at the May 10th meeting. All Culver City chapter members present at the May 10th meeting will be eligible to vote.
Procrass & De Los Reyes LLP, a long-time supporter of LACBC and the chapters, has agreed to sponsor and provide our bike accident report handouts and mini band-aid kits.
Other sponsors are in talks to support Bike Culver City but were not finalized during this meeting.
Bike Culver City to host bike-to-work and bike-from-work events throughout Culver City during bike month and bike week.
