June Family Ride Celebrates Ballona Creek Bike Path

You may have noticed when the Ballona Creek path at Overland was closed for construction... You may have had the pleasure of riding on the new-and-improved path after it opened... Now celebrate the success of this great initiative and say thanks to Ballona Creek Renaissance and  Culver City Public Works for making this 1,000 foot stretch of the path functional, beautiful and watershed-friendly!CCBC and Ballona Creek Renaissance will lead a ride from Culver City Town Plaza (near the Culver Hotel) down the path to the opening ceremony, then along the Ballona Creek bike path.When: Saturday, June 25

  • 9am Gather at Culver Hotel, sign waivers, bike adjustments
  • 9:30am Ride from Downtown to Overland Gate
  • 10am Overland Gate Dedication
  • 11am Ride along Ballona Creek with Ballona Creek Renaissance
