May Ride Recap

May Ride Recap: With perfect weather and an enthusiastic little group of riders, the CCBC led its 5th Family Ride this morning. We cruised comfortably along the Culver Bike Path, enjoying the May blooms and pleasant conversation. One participant observed: "This is the perfect way for kids to learn how to ride on the street and on bike paths." It's true. The group provides "safety in numbers" (i.e. visibility), while adults help kids to ride predictably, in a straight line, while observing traffic laws, and staying to the right - outside of the door zone.Please join us on our next ride Sunday, June 26th. All are welcome. Kids are not required - but helmets are!
