Sustainable Streets' excellent Confident City Cycling class starts this Saturday, April 30th! [Download flyer here]This 2-day class is designed to help cyclists age 16 and up gain confidence and skill to ride a bike safely and legally in city traffic. League of American Bicyclists certified Cycling Instructors give students practical guidance through both classroom and hands-on instruction. We toured the improvement area with parents & community members on April 16th, now we will be discussing the plan with city staff to make sure community concerns are addressed as the plan moves forward.City staff will host this meeting to inform neighborhood residents about upcomingSafe Routes to School project street improvements. Come hear the City’s plans for making streets safer for children to bike and walk to Linwood E. Howe. This project is part of the City of Culver City’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Initiative, funded by LA County Public Health’s PLACE Program.
